Our adventure begins with a scenic drive along State Road 46, providing breathtaking countryside views.

We often hop on my boyfriend’s motorcycle or cruise in his beloved project car, a Mazda Miata, to make the journey memorable.

As we wind our way through the tree-lined US-46, the seasonal colors of nature unfold before us, making it an ideal starting point for your day in Nashville.

Savoring Fine Wines at Brown County Winery

Our first stop, just off State Road 46, was the Brown County Winery. Here, you can enjoy a delightful wine-tasting experience by sampling six wines for free. The winery graciously offers tastings daily. Here are their hours of operation: Monday – Thursday: 10 am to 5 pm; Friday and Saturday: 10 am to 5:30 pm; Sunday: 11 am to 5 pm.

Brown County Winery boasts a remarkable collection of award-winning grape and fruit wines, from dry to sweet. We couldn’t resist supporting this local business and purchased three bottles of their finest during our visit. We then savored our Sangria bottle on the winery’s inviting outdoor patio, where my fiancee and I shared a romantic moment appreciating the ambiance.

Nashville offers a treasure trove of antique shops for those inclined to this activity. Our favorite is the Brown County Antique Mall, which consists of three showrooms filled with captivating finds.

Along State Road 46, you’ll also encounter the Gypsy Moon Flea Market and Kelp’s Pumpkin Patch, all of which add to the delightful shopping experience in Nashville, Indiana.
